Private Setup does not require an account, cookies, behavioral analytics, or device fingerprinting.

Your DNS queries

Private Setup does not receive your DNS queries. After setup, your device sends DNS queries directly to Cloudflare, which operates the resolver.

What Private DNS means

Private DNS encrypts DNS requests. It is not a VPN and does not hide your IP address from websites. Like any hosted website, ordinary security and delivery logs may exist at the hosting provider.
